Our Lodge is divided into eleven different chapters, based on geographic regions corresponding to the Council's Districts. Each District has it's own OA Chapter. Neusalufta Chapter is the Order of the Arrow Chapter for Sequoyah District in eastern Wake County. The spelling of Neusalufta has changed several times over recent history, but basically it takes its name from the tribes that once lived in the lands surrounding the Neuse River, which flows through our District on its way to the sea.
Neusalufta is currently the largest Chapter in Occoneechee Lodge, making up about one-sixth of the total Lodge membership.
Neusalufta Chapter has been around for many years. On the following pages is a brief history of the Chapter over the past eight years.
