Invitational Powwow

Host Drum: Eastern Bull

MC: John Blackfeather

John Blackfeather Jeffries, Vigil member of our Lodge, and well known spokesman of the Saponi band of the Occaneechi Nation, was again the MC for Spring Powwow. Blackfeather and Eastern Bull again expressed appreciation for the respect to American Indian culture shown by Lodge Dancers, and encouraged more to come out and give dance a try.

Easten Bull Drum, host Drum of this year's Spring Powwow, donated $100.00 and cd's of their music to encourage dance within the Lodge.  Eastern Bull is a Native American drum made up of members of the Cherokee, Coharie, Lumbee, Monacan, Chickahominy, Waccamaw-Siouan, and the Machapunga -Tuscarora tribes.
