Inspired by the great success of our brothers in
Wahissa Lodge #118 (voted the National
Champion Drum at NOAC 1998), Neusalufta's Drum is in its formative stages this year, and
we are actively recruiting. We are a Southern drum, meaning that we sing and drum in the
style of the Southern Plains Indians such as the Osage, Sac and Fox, Kiowa, Ponca
Hethoshka, Pawnee and Otoe. We use as our models the highly respected Drums Southern Thunder, Rose Hill and YellowHammer.
Watch the Chapter eNews for the practice schedule.
Neusalufta Arrowmen: If you have any interest in drum, contact us! We'll
send you a tape of songs to learn for our practice sessions.
